Madison up the Mast

by sarah hair Email

THis is Madison when she is up the mast. She went to the top of the mizzen mast to do some work on our rigging. She is now 10 years old, so it is about time she went up there and gave the adults a break from climbing.

You look great Madison!

The Good Duck

by sarah hair Email

Madison's ten year old birthday (on the actual day!!) party was at the bowling alley this year. We did our annual bowling game, and everyone looked great! We did not disgrace the family name and many of us even bowled better than 100 points (yay!!) with the winning games somewhere up in the 120 - 130 range!

This is the birthday cookie we picked up at the store. It is supposed to say "good Luck" but someone got a little too excited with the frosting. It was there in the grocery store and we could not pass it up. How often do you find a giant cookie with a good duck on it?

Everyone ate it anyway, but not until after we all had a good chuckle.
